They’re being forced to risk their lives, so yeah I would say this is a violation of their right to life.

Everytime I look around, the US Govt, or some part there-of on State or National level; is finding a way to reintroduce slavery.
Shameful.
From A Series of Unfortunate Events DVD commentary track.
if you haven’t watched this film with the commentary then you are missing out, it’s hilarious. “Lemony Snicket” was completely unhappy with the film and wanted no real part of it and so in the commentary he just fucks about. Seriously, at one point he gets out an accordion and drowns out the director with his playing
“nearly all of my life”
Lemony Snicket sass is what I aspire to in life.
“Lemony Snicket” (Dan Handler) was asked if he liked the movie.
He said “I love the movie as much as someone who wrote 8 drafts of a movie before being fired from his own creation could possibly be.”
The man’s life is sarcasm and it’s beautiful.
OK SOME REALLY SERIOUS SHIT IS HAPPENING IN NORTH KOREA
According to South Korean newspapers, last week the North Korean government PUBLICLY EXECUTED 80 people in 7 cities for watching South Korean/Western shows, movies, and videos, “pornography,” or possessing a Bible.
Apparently people’s attitudes and conformance are changing SO THIS IS HOW THE GOVERNMENT IS TRYING TO SUPPRESS DISOBEDIENCE
They allegedly herded 10,000 innocent civilians into a stadium where they were FORCED TO WATCH THE EXECUTIONS BY MACHINE GUN FIRE
THIS IS HONESTLY SOME HUNGER GAMES SHIT HAPPENING IN REAL LIFE RIGHT NOW

Things like this kinda upsets me, because the situation in North Korea has been fucked for years, now. This is not new.
Estimates are that there are about 200k people in prison camps located in North Korea, and about 10k of the people die every year in the prison camps. Between 1994 and 1998, anywhere from 800k to 3.5 million North Koreans starved to death, mostly because the government couldn’t figure out how to feed the people and were too busy being corrupt.
Forced prostitution. Forced abortions. Summary executions. Secret police. Re-education camps. Internment camps. Forced labor. Human experimentation. Kidnapping of foreign nationals. The list of human rights violations is pretty long.

“By no means, I’m retiring from acting. You know, I love acting. I just - creatively I like new things - directing really sparked my interest so I’m gonna try and explore that for a little while.”
